Sinn Féin has become the second most popular political party in the country, according to the latest Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll.
Sinn Féin has moved narrowly ahead of the Labour Party and Fianna Fáil to become the second most popular political party in the country, according to the latest Irish Times/Ipsos MRBI poll.
The poll shows Fine Gael is still holding a strong lead over all parties with 35% support.
Sinn Féin is on 18%, followed by Labour with 17% and Fianna Fáil with 16%.
The margin of error for the poll is plus or minus 3%.
The survey was conducted on Monday and Tuesday of last week.
